Central Virginia Commuter Services coordinated with GLTC to celebrate Try Transit Week this September from September 14-18!
Program Manager Ada Hunsberger visited the GLTC Transfer Station on Wednesday, September 16 and shared information about the ConnectingVA app with bus commuters at the Station. We also distributed flyers, backpacks and bike lights! Many commuters had not heard of ConnectingVA before, or were unsure how the program worked-- this event was a great way to share more information about the program!
In the week of Try Transit Week, we had:
Eliminated Over 1,000 Vehicle Miles by our commuters choosing transit or rideshare!
105 Trips Recorded this week
99 new rideshare inquires
$771 back in our commuter's pockets!
